Project Overview
Fiesta Descargable is an online store I launched in August 2020 to sell animated digital birthday invitations. This project became a turning point in my career, allowing me to combine skills in graphic design, animation, e-commerce, and SEO.
What I did
I created all the invitation templates using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. To make each product more dynamic and visually appealing, I animated them in After Effects — offering unique and memorable invitations for children’s celebrations.
I used WordPress with the Kadence Pro theme to build a fast, responsive, and user-friendly online store. I set up the store using WooCommerce, which allowed me to list products, manage orders, and handle customer interactions with ease.
I conducted keyword research and competitive analysis to define which invitation themes to design and how to position them online. This helped attract organic traffic and shaped the product offering over time.
I promoted the store primarily through both Google and Pinterest, with Pinterest becoming a surprisingly strong source of targeted traffic. I also set up email capture and automation using MailerLite to nurture potential customers.
I managed client communications directly through WhatsApp, email, and social platforms, ensuring fast responses and building long-term trust through personalized attention.

Fiesta Descargable gave me hands-on experience building a brand and a profitable digital product business from the ground up. It allowed me to refine my skills in web design, WooCommerce setup, UX optimization, SEO, and collaborative creative work, all with a strong focus on the customer journey.
